The Love of God in Action…
One Family at a Time is helping families in need in rural and jungle areas by providing food, prayer and sharing God’s love. We have seen wonderful transformations in the lives of these families and have been so thankful for all of the generous donations and support that we have received. We are truly blessed to have you as part of our team. Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18

School supplies given to children is a great way to show God’s love for the children in a tangible way. By providing children with essential school supplies, we can help equip them for success in school and in life. Providing children with school supplies gives them the tools they need to excel academically and spiritually. It is also a great way to demonstrate to children that their education is important and valued by God.

The Cave of Adullam is dedicated to providing medical outreach and sharing the love and hope of God in some of the world’s most underserved communities. Through its Short Term Mission Teams, the Cave of Adullam has been able to bring medical care and relief to individuals and communities in need.

Recently, the prayer house has been painted yellow, bringing a cheerful and uplifting atmosphere The prayer house is a place of joy, where people come to give thanks and worship the Lord. It is a place of peace and reflection, where people can draw closer to God and seek His guidance.

This month, we had a women’s retreat to share the love of God and pray for them. We provided them with massage, facial, nails, and relaxation services to help them feel relaxed and encouraged. We shared encouraging words and empowered them to have faith in themselves and in God. The retreat was a great time of bonding and reflection for the women who attended. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? Matthew 6:30

We are so grateful for the YWAM Rogaland students who have come to serve with us. Their dedication to and their their love of God have been an incredible blessing and encouragement to us. Everywhere they go, they leave a positive impact, and we are so thankful to have been able to witness it firsthand. From helping out in the Jungle to outreach projects and One Family at A Time, they have applied their skills and passions to making a difference.

Mission work in Costa Rica at The Cave of Adullam is an amazing way to serve the Lord and share His love with the people of Costa Rica. From rural coffee plantations to jungle Hidden Paradise, mission teams can participate in children and women ministries, construction projects, and feeding programs. These projects provide a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate while getting to know the culture and people of Costa Rica. Mission work in Costa Rica is a rewarding experience that will make a lasting impact and change lives. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19
Thank you. We are grateful and appreciative of your kindness and generosity. Your giving of your time, prayers and support are invaluabel to us. We are blessed to have you in our lives and thank you for being part of the Cave of Adullam family. We are truly thankful for your prayers and support.
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. Ps 33:18
Our motto is: We keep moving and praying and hoping in the Lord. God is so good, and we are grateful for everything. From our children to our health, to the ministry to friends and finances. We have no words that can express our total gratitude to Our Lord and to you.
We are very excited to share what God is doing through “One Family at a Time”, when we first started it was because of a need that was presented because of Covid 19. We Started with 10 families, giving them one bag of food, a bible and then we would pray for them and their families once a month. Now there are over 55 families, they receive a bag of food, tracts or bible with the message of the Good News, we pray for them, counsel them and disciple, once a month going on two times a month. We have seen God work in their lives, healing, encouragement and much more. They come for medical service and advice as well and Liani has been able to help them and guide them in their needs.
From Jungle to Jungle
During these summer months Gods hand has been upon us. From tearing down the mission house (Hidden Paradise) to building relationships with the people, chiropractic and optical ministry and sharing the Good News. The people have been so excited that even though they have less than us they give all they have.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38 This is our pray for them One family gave homemade cheese every day while in the village. Another killed his pig and made chicharrones (pork rinds) for all of us plus cabbage salad and fresh fruit juice and another that lives in a hut by the river fished a snook fish and gave it to us to take home. We are seeing the fruit of the work. All you that have worked with us are part of this wonderful overflow of God's love. Thank you for being part of this.
Matthew 28:19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching people to teach children through Kidz@heart, children's camp, women ministry, homeschool co op, church retreats and baptisms, this is what the Lord has called us to do. Make Disciples
Our Family Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. Psalms 2:8 From USA to Asia to Africa to Europe to Central America and South America making Disciples.

Reconstructing the Mission House “Hidden Paradise”
For many years the mission in La Barra del Colorado has served the village and people around the Colorado River and the San Juan River. Many of you have come and stayed at the mission to serve and share the Gospel, giving hope to the lost. Many have stayed at the mission “Hidden Paradise”, and have experienced a fresh renewal and change from God.
The Mission House “Hidden Paradise” is in need of reconstruction. It literally fell. (a few years ago Carlos did fall through the floor planks). It looks like a tornado came in and did it’s work. Getting supplies to the mission house will be challenging seeing that we would have to get everything from a city that is 2 1/2 hour drive on dirt road and then a 1 to 1/1/2hr. boat ride.
In May 2022 Carlos and I will be going to hike sections of the Appalachian Trail. Carlos will hike a few summits and fire towers about 15 miles / 24 kilometers. He will hike the Max patch trail to the summit and back. I will hike a few hiking sections, from Albert Mountain to Nantahala Outdoor Center and from Max Patch to Hot Springs and Lovers leap about 70miles / 124 kilometers.
Our desire and hope is that hiking the Appalachian trail will be a fund raiser for the reconstruction of the Mission house “Hidden Paradise” in La Barra del Colorado. So we can continue to love and share the Good News to the river villages and be able to take other missionaries and mission teams to help share the Good News.
If you desire to be part of this project you can send $1 per mile, $5 per mile $10 per mile or one set amount to:

God Is Good All The Time… All The Time God Is Good
Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever.
Psalms 136:2
The end of 2021was very fruitful. We were encourage and blessed by many that came and worked along side us. There were 6 precious young ladies from Global Tribe outreach who came to The Cave of Adullam for 3 weeks to serve, love and share the Good News. Over 600 children were given a meal and Christmas gifts along with the true meaning of Christmas while we were Caroling. God is good all the time… And all the time God is good.

During part of there stay we had a short term missions team from Oklahoma that blessed the children with back packs and school supplies. Also “One Family at a Time ” was able to give over 60 families food bags. The Love of Jesus Christ in action. God is good all the time… And all the time God is good.

Then what a fun and wonderful fellowship time we had December 31st. Missionaries, minister, pastors, foreigners came together at The Cave of Adullam to worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. God is good all the time… And all the time God is good.
Oh how lovely to see women being ministered to when we had the WOW (Women of Wisdom) Conference. Over 35 women stayed at The Cave of Adullam for a time to be renewed in Christ, refreshed, restored and encouraged to continue the race put before them. Here I am Lord send me! God is good all the time… And all the time God is good.

Conference for teaching and advising for moms and dads was a day of recapturing the meaning of discipling our children and nurturing them with knowledge as well as spiritual guidance. It was full of testimonies and new teaching methods, information and curriculums, plus encouragement to all the new teaching moms and dads. This captured the true essence of God’s love for us Moms and Dads. We are not alone when discipling our children, He is with us always. God is good all the time… And all the time God is good.

We were able to enter La Barra Del Colorado (jungle) in September. We had a wonderful tiime in the fishing village Being the HANDS and FEET of Jesus. Our good friend and Pastor Orville Beckford passed away in this year. Please pray for his family.
Our wood frame mission house has fallen not sure what needs to be done. We will enter la Barra delColorado at the end of February and see what the needs for the mission house and community is.

“Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them. Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land. They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 1:17-19
